서당의 순서를 그대로 따릅니다. 습자로 새 글자를 손으로 익히고, 강독으로 원문을 소리 내어 읽으며 뜻을 새기고, 배강으로 책을 덮고 외워 바칩니다. 배강을 통과해야 다음 과가 열립니다.

Three steps, as in a traditional village school: writing the new characters by hand, reading the annotated original aloud, then reciting it from memory. Passing the recitation unlocks the next lesson.

자물쇠는 두 종류입니다. 앞 과를 아직 마치지 않아 잠긴 것이라면 그 과를 먼저 떼면 열립니다. 제4과 이후가 잠긴 것이라면 평생 이용권이 필요합니다.

Follow the starting-point guide and draw slowly. After three misses the app shows a hint and moves on, so you will never be stuck on one stroke.

Tap the gear icon at the top right of the main screen. Speed has three settings, and the recitation voice can be female or male.

The continuous recitation in the library keeps playing with the screen off, with lock-screen controls. The read-aloud button inside a lesson is meant for study and stops when the screen turns off.

같은 Apple 계정으로 로그인하고 iCloud가 켜져 있으면 진도·복습·즐겨찾기가 이어집니다. 글자별 통계와 일별 활동 기록은 기기에만 남으므로 옮겨지지 않습니다.

Yes — progress, reviews, and bookmarks sync through your own iCloud when signed in to the same Apple Account. Per-character statistics and daily activity stay on the device and do not transfer.

설정 → 학습 기록 초기화. 기기의 기록과 iCloud에 올려 둔 기록이 함께 지워집니다. 되돌릴 수 없습니다.

Settings → Reset study data. This clears both the device records and the iCloud copy, and cannot be undone.

No. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase that never expires. Nothing recurs.

The lifetime unlock removes all ads. The free version shows a single banner at the bottom of the Hakdang and Dictionary screens — never over or inside a lesson. There are no interstitial or video ads at all. Once purchased, the ad component is never even started.

That is the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, shown once before ads appear. Declining changes nothing about how the app works — you simply see non-personalized ads instead. You can change your choice any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. The prompt never appears for anyone who has bought the lifetime unlock.

서문과 열 장의 원문을 모두 담았습니다. 178과 405구절, 원문 6,768자입니다. 한 과는 원문 40~55자 안팎으로 끊었는데, 처음 배우는 사람이 한 장을 통째로 만나면 길을 잃기 쉬워 논지가 꺾이는 자리를 골라 나눈 것입니다. 405구절 전부에 현토·독음·해석·새김·직역이 붙어 있고, 출전을 댈 수 있는 76구절에는 전고(典故)로 원전 인용을 함께 실었습니다.

다만 원서 뒤에 붙는 부록 「제의초(祭儀鈔)」는 아직 담지 않았습니다. 제례장 본문이 "이에 제례를 뽑아 뒤에 붙이고 또 그림으로 그렸다"고 말하는 그 부록입니다.

Yes — the complete preface and all ten chapters: 178 lessons, 405 passages, 6,768 characters of original text. Lessons are cut at roughly 40–55 characters, split where the argument turns, because meeting a whole chapter at once tends to lose a beginner. Every one of the 405 passages carries reading marks, pronunciation, translation, commentary, and a word-by-word gloss; 76 passages also quote the classical source they draw on.

One appendix is not included: the Jeuicho, the ritual manual appended to the original after chapter ten.

아닙니다. 16세기 조선에서 상례와 제례가 주자가례로 표준화된 역사를 원문 그대로 싣고 풀이한 것입니다. 두 장이 실제로 강조하는 것은 절차가 아니라 정성입니다 — "가난하면 집의 형편에 맞추고, 병들면 근력을 헤아려 행하라"는 제례장의 구절이 그 예입니다. 특정 종교를 권하거나 의식을 안내하는 내용이 아닙니다.

No. They record how mourning and ancestral rites were codified in 16th-century Korea, presented as historical text with commentary. What the chapters actually emphasize is sincerity over procedure — "if poor, match the means of the household; if ill, measure your strength." Nothing here promotes a religion or instructs in performing a rite.

격몽요결은 1577년에 지어진 책입니다. 거가(居家)장처럼 당대의 가족 질서를 전제로 한 대목이 있습니다. 이 앱은 원문을 고치거나 덜어내지 않고 그대로 싣되, 새김에서 그 구절이 어느 장의 어떤 맥락에 놓였는지를 밝혀 시대의 자리 위에서 읽도록 했습니다.

The book dates from 1577, and some passages — the chapter on the household, for instance — assume the family order of their time. The app presents the original unchanged and names the chapter and context each passage sits in, so it can be read where it belongs.
