서당의 순서를 그대로 따릅니다. 습자로 새 글자를 손으로 익히고, 강독으로 원문을 소리 내어 읽으며 뜻을 새기고, 배강으로 책을 덮고 외워 바칩니다. 배강을 통과해야 다음 과가 열립니다.
Three steps, as in a traditional village school: writing the new characters by hand, reading the annotated original aloud, then reciting it from memory. Passing the recitation unlocks the next lesson.
자물쇠는 두 종류입니다. 앞 과를 아직 마치지 않아 잠긴 것이라면 그 과를 먼저 떼면 열립니다. 10과 이후가 잠긴 것이라면 평생 이용권이 필요합니다.

Tap the gear icon at the top right of the main screen. Speed has three settings, and the recitation voice can be female or male.

The continuous recitation in the library keeps playing with the screen off, with lock-screen controls. The read-aloud button inside a lesson is meant for study and stops when the screen turns off.
같은 Apple 계정으로 로그인하고 iCloud가 켜져 있으면 진도·복습·즐겨찾기가 이어집니다. 글자별 통계와 일별 활동 기록은 기기에만 남으므로 옮겨지지 않습니다.
Yes — progress, reviews, and bookmarks sync through your own iCloud when signed in to the same Apple Account. Per-character statistics and daily activity stay on the device and do not transfer.
설정 → 학습 기록 초기화. 기기의 기록과 iCloud에 올려 둔 기록이 함께 지워집니다. 되돌릴 수 없습니다.
Settings → Reset study data. This clears both the device records and the iCloud copy, and cannot be undone.
아닙니다. 평생 이용권은 1회 결제이며 만료되지 않습니다. 정기 결제가 빠져나가지 않습니다.
No. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase that never expires. Nothing recurs.

전문은 아닙니다. 명심보감은 편마다 구절이 많아 통째로 담으면 처음 배우는 사람이 길을 잃습니다. 계선편에서 부행편까지 열아홉 편과 증보 다섯 편에서 고갱이가 되는 구절을 골라 37과 61구절로 엮었습니다. 가화만사성, 지족상락, 수지청즉무어처럼 지금도 쓰이는 말이 나온 자리를 먼저 담았습니다.
Not the complete text. Myeongsimbogam is long, and reading all of it at once tends to lose a beginner. This app selects 61 key passages across 37 lessons from nineteen chapters, starting with the lines that are still in everyday use.
명심보감은 옛 사람의 잠언집입니다. 마지막 과인 부행(婦行)편의 사덕처럼 오늘의 눈으로 보면 시대의 한계가 뚜렷한 대목이 있습니다. 이 앱은 원문을 지우지 않고 그대로 싣되 새김에 그 사실을 밝히고 무엇이 지금도 읽을 만한지 함께 적어 두었습니다.
These are maxims from another age, and some — such as the four virtues in the final chapter — carry the limits of their time. The app presents the original as it is and says so in the commentary, distinguishing what still reads well from what belongs to the past.
