1. Overview
Live Photo Converter (the "app") respects your privacy. The app itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.
2. Information the App Accesses
a. Photo Library
- The app accesses only the Live Photo you explicitly select in the picker, in order to convert it into APNG, GIF, WebP, or video.
- Selected photos are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded to any server.
- Converted files are stored in the app's Documents folder and remain there until you delete them.
b. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
- Per iOS policy, the app asks for consent to use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
- If you agree, the IDFA is shared with the advertising SDK (Google AdMob) to show more relevant ads.
- If you decline, the app continues to work exactly the same — only non-personalized ads will be shown.
c. SKAdNetwork
- Apple's SKAdNetwork may process anonymized signals used for ad attribution.
- This process is managed by Apple and does not identify individual users.
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party SDKs:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — banner and native ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase — app stability and basic usage metrics. See Firebase Privacy.
Any data handled by these SDKs is governed by the respective provider's policies.
4. What We Do Not Collect
- The app does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses.
- The app does not scan your entire photo library or upload it anywhere.
- The app does not access your location, contacts, microphone, or camera.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Converted files live only on your device.
- You can delete them anytime from My Files inside the app or via the Files app.
- Uninstalling the app removes all data the app has created.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated due to changes in law, the service, or security requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page.
