Frequently asked questions
I granted photo access but my albums look empty.
Make sure iCloud Photos is enabled in Settings → Photos → Sync this iPhone, and that your library has finished its initial download. AlbumLens shows whatever PhotoKit reports — if Photos.app shows no albums either, the issue is at the system level.
What is "Pro" and what's included?
AlbumLens Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads, unlocks more than 5 albums, enables per-album insights, allows album exports, and turns on the Home Screen widget. There is no subscription — you pay once.
I purchased Pro on another device. How do I restore it?
Tap the Restore Purchase button on the Pro upgrade screen. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID, your purchase will be recognized within seconds.
Why does the app ask for tracking permission?
Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) lets you control whether AdMob can serve personalized ads. Declining is fine — you'll still see ads, just non-personalized ones.
Does AlbumLens upload my photos anywhere?
No. All photo processing happens on your device. We only collect anonymous usage events (e.g., "paywall shown") through Firebase Analytics, never photo content. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I download an entire album from iCloud?
Open the album, tap the menu icon in the top right, and choose "Download N photos." AlbumLens pulls every photo and video into your device's Photos cache so they're ready offline. You can toggle "Wi-Fi only" in Settings to avoid cellular data.
How do I export an album to a folder?
Open an album and tap the menu icon in the top right, then "Export to folder." (Pro feature.) Choose your photo format, GPS option, and filename rule, then pick a destination folder via the Files app.
The widget shows "No pinned album."
Long-press an album card and tap "Pin." The widget will refresh within a minute and display the most recently pinned album.

앨범을 열고 우상단 메뉴에서 "N장 다운로드"를 선택하세요. AlbumLens가 모든 사진과 비디오를 기기의 사진 캐시로 끌어내려 오프라인에서도 즉시 사용할 수 있게 합니다. 설정에서 "Wi-Fi 전용 다운로드" 토글로 셀룰러 사용을 막을 수 있습니다.
앨범을 외부 폴더로 어떻게 내보내나요?
앨범을 열고 우상단 메뉴에서 "외부 폴더로 Export"를 선택하세요. (Pro 전용 기능) 사진 포맷, GPS 옵션, 파일명 규칙을 선택한 후 Files 앱에서 대상 폴더를 지정하세요.
위젯에 "핀 앨범 없음"이라고 표시됩니다.
앨범 카드를 길게 눌러 "핀 고정"을 탭하세요. 위젯은 1분 이내에 새로 고침되어 가장 최근에 핀 고정된 앨범을 표시합니다.
