Narrate is designed to be private by default: your text, voice recordings, and generated audio are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. 1. Data processed on your device1. 기기에서 처리되는 데이터
- Text you enter is used only to generate speech on your device. It is not transmitted to us.입력한 텍스트는 기기에서 음성을 생성하는 데만 사용되며, 당사로 전송되지 않습니다.
- Microphone & voice recordings. If you record a reference voice, the recording is saved locally on your device and used only to clone that voice for synthesis. It is not uploaded. You can delete saved voices in the app at any time.마이크·음성 녹음. 참조 음성을 녹음하면 해당 녹음은 기기에 로컬로 저장되어 그 음색을 복제하는 데만 사용됩니다. 업로드되지 않으며, 저장된 목소리는 앱에서 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- Imported audio/video (Pro). Files you import are read on-device to extract a reference voice and are not uploaded.가져온 오디오·영상(Pro). 가져온 파일은 기기에서 읽어 참조 음색을 추출하며 업로드되지 않습니다.
- Generated audio is stored locally so you can replay, export, or delete it.생성된 음성은 다시 듣기·내보내기·삭제할 수 있도록 기기에 로컬 저장됩니다.
This on-device data may be included in your device’s iCloud/iTunes backup if you have backups enabled, under Apple’s control. We have no access to it.이 로컬 데이터는 기기 백업을 켠 경우 Apple의 통제 하에 iCloud/iTunes 백업에 포함될 수 있습니다. 당사는 이에 접근할 수 없습니다.
2. Voice model download2. 음성 모델 다운로드
On first use, the app downloads an AI voice model (about 2–3 GB) from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). This is a standard network request to fetch model files; we do not send your text, recordings, or personal information as part of it. Your network provider and Hugging Face may process technical request data (such as your IP address) according to their own policies. 최초 사용 시 앱은 Hugging Face(huggingface.co)에서 AI 음성 모델(약 2~3 GB)을 다운로드합니다. 모델 파일을 받기 위한 일반적인 네트워크 요청이며, 그 과정에서 이용자의 텍스트·녹음·개인정보를 전송하지 않습니다. 통신사·Hugging Face는 IP 주소 등 기술적 요청 데이터를 각자의 정책에 따라 처리할 수 있습니다.
3. Advertising & analytics3. 광고 및 분석
For users who are not subscribed, the app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and app usage. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you allow or deny tracking; if you deny, you will receive non‑personalized ads. Subscribing to Narrate Pro removes ads. 구독하지 않은 이용자에게는 Google AdMob을 통해 광고가 표시됩니다. 광고 게재·측정을 위해 Google은 기기 식별자, 광고 식별자(IDFA), IP 주소, 앱 사용 정보 등을 수집·처리할 수 있습니다. iOS의 앱 추적 투명성(ATT) 안내에서 추적을 허용/거부할 수 있으며, 거부 시 비개인화 광고가 제공됩니다. Narrate Pro 구독 시 광고가 제거됩니다.
We also use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand anonymous, aggregate usage (for example, which features are used, and basic device/app information) so we can improve the app. It does not access your text, recordings, or generated audio. 또한 앱 개선을 위해 Google Analytics for Firebase로 익명·집계 형태의 사용 정보(예: 어떤 기능이 사용되는지, 기본 기기·앱 정보)를 분석합니다. 이는 이용자의 텍스트·녹음·생성 음성에 접근하지 않습니다.

4. Subscriptions4. 구독
Narrate Pro is sold as an in‑app subscription processed by Apple. Purchases, billing, and renewals are handled by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment details. Apple provides us with subscription status (active or not) so the app can unlock Pro features. Narrate Pro는 Apple이 처리하는 인앱 구독으로 판매됩니다. 구매·결제·갱신은 App Store를 통해 Apple이 처리하며, 당사는 결제 정보를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 앱이 Pro 기능을 해제할 수 있도록 Apple은 구독 상태(활성 여부)를 제공합니다.

The app does not require an account or sign‑in. We do not operate our own servers that collect your text, recordings, generated audio, contacts, or location. Aside from the third‑party services described above (Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Apple, Hugging Face), we do not gather personal data from you. 앱은 계정 가입이나 로그인을 요구하지 않습니다. 당사는 이용자의 텍스트·녹음·생성 음성·연락처·위치를 수집하는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않습니다. 위에서 설명한 제3자 서비스(Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Apple, Hugging Face)를 제외하면 당사가 이용자로부터 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
6. Data retention & your choices6. 보관 및 이용자 선택
- On‑device content (voices, audio, text) remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.기기 내 콘텐츠(목소리·음성·텍스트)는 앱에서 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하기 전까지 유지됩니다.
- You can delete saved voices and recent audio individually in the app.저장된 목소리와 최근 음성은 앱에서 개별 삭제할 수 있습니다.

8. Responsible use of cloned voices8. 복제 음성의 책임있는 사용
You are responsible for obtaining consent for any voice you clone, and for how you use generated audio. Do not use the app for impersonation, misinformation, or fraud, and disclose AI‑generated audio where appropriate. 복제하는 목소리에 대한 동의를 얻을 책임과 생성된 음성의 사용 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다. 사칭·허위정보·사기에 사용하지 말고, 필요한 경우 AI 생성 음성임을 밝혀 주세요.
