The Book of Changes — all sixty-four hexagrams, in the original
The Book of Changes is the oldest of the Three Classics and the longest-read book in East Asia. Tradition credits Fuxi with the eight trigrams, King Wen and the Duke of Zhou with doubling them into sixty-four hexagrams and attaching the judgements, and Confucius with the Ten Wings that explain them. He is said to have worn through the leather binding three times reading it.
It began as a divination manual, but through the Ten Wings it became a book about change itself — a language for judging when to advance and when to withdraw as yin and yang give way to each other.
This app skips none of the sixty-four hexagrams: the decisive lines from the judgements, the line statements, and the Great Images, together with the Wenyan on Qian and passages from the Great Treatise and the Shuogua — 101 passages across 85 lessons, 1,259 characters.
The Changes is hard to read without a commentary. Each passage therefore carries Zhu Xi's note from the Zhouyi Benyi, in the original and in translation — his reading of ceaseless self-strengthening, for instance, locates the strength not in doubled heavens but in heaven's daily circuit. The text follows an old edition; the punctuation and translation are ours.

There is no hexagram casting and no fortune-telling here — no yarrow stalks, no coins, no daily reading. The Changes is treated as a book to be read: written by hand, chanted aloud, and recited from memory, in the order a traditional school would follow.
The words auspicious, ominous, regret and remorse are kept as they stand in the original, since that is the language of the text — but the commentary reads them as descriptions of a situation and a bearing, not as predictions.
